• What is GPS and how does it work?

GPS is an acronym for Global Positioning System and it works in coordination with GPS satellites which send out coordinates of longitude and latitude to your GPS tracking device. The device communicates with devices that have the GPS chip installed in them. Through this way you can get the location of your vehicle and this information is transmitted to you over cellular networks of GSM/GPRS through wireless provider.

•I lost my SD card for in-dash navigation. Can I load maps, files and content on to an empty SD card ?

No you can not. You will have to be another SD card officially licensed by Tracking World, with all the information and content required.
• How do I connect to the Internet through the navigation device?

You will have to buy an Internet Dongle device which can be connected to the USB port in the device.
• I am unable to play video or audio content on Navigation/MultiMedia System. Why?

Firstly, check if the video or audio format is supported or not. Tracking World's in dash system supports MPEG4, AVI and 3GP formats. Secondly, use a different SD card or USB, as yours may be corrupted due to virus.
• My Tracking World Navigation System is not working! What do I do?

Kindly make sure that you have done all of the following before you require professional help:
• The SD Card with map should be inserted into the 'Maps' Slot
• Configure the software path for Tracking World Navigation System properly
• Activate the Software
• The device is getting proper GPS signals
Once, you are sure that the above mentioned points are working properly, then restart the device. If you are still having problems, then contact our free customer helpline.
• The Tracking World Personal Navigation Device gets stuck often. How do I counter this?

This often happens due to overload of data on SD card. You should restart the device, and allow the navigation software to start from the beginning. Be patient with the loading and do not press any other button until it has restarted completely and successfully.
• How do I reach my destination by using Tracking World's Navigation System?

Once you reach the main menu of the Tracking World Navigation System, you have to enter (if required) the country, and then the city name. Then you will be required to give further details of address or longitude/latitude if you know it. Once you enter 'Search' the navigation device may take you to another page with 'Suggested Destinations', from which you can choose your accurate location. It is important to remember that you can add your 'Favorite Destinations', as well as look up 'History of Destinations' etc to automatically tell Navigator to guide you towards the destination.
